Standing up? Looks like you’re about to fold.
Sometimes, doesn’t it feel like you’ve been working too hard? Lately I’ve been feeling as though my daily routine is getting so rough, I wish I could carry around one of those folding chairs to be able to just sit in a peaceful corner and remain undisturbed for a couple of minutes, every once in a while. You know, I really miss the time when I was younger and I could just sit in the floor without worrying about getting my suit dirty… but well, that’s just how life works, right? Quite often it’s all about compromise, the way we have to let go of certain things in order to get other things. I might not be able to sit anywhere I want or anytime I want to, and it might not be practical to carry a folding chair in my back pocket – however working hard provides me with a number of benefits, such as being able to purchase folding chairs and folding tables much to my heart’s contentment.
Speaking of which, I’ve been getting hyped in anticipation for those early spring little pic-nic getaways I so enjoy. When the weather starts getting warmer, I like picking up some take-away food and making a little getaway in the woods. Fortunately, I don’t live too far from the countryside, so a couple of hours are sufficient to enjoy an amazing lunch break. In short, this is why I think it’s a good idea to carry around a set of folding table + chairs in my car trunk. Some people seem to think that’s a little eccentric, but then again that’s only until I invite them to come along in one of my getaways. In fact, this is how I tend to get some relief from the daily grind… whenever possible I just drive out of the city (or into a quiet park somewhere), even if there’s only enough time to sit around for half hour, or so. You should try this little therapy, it will work wonderfully in raising your spirits.
