Save the last dance, and do make sure it matters!
Wednesday, July 1st, 2009So I was wondering… what about dance? I mean, do you people enjoy dancing? You know, this is just my opinion, but someone who doesn’t enjoy dancing is suffering from some kind of emotional blockage, since it’s all about letting go and just being your body. Well, that doesn’t go to say the opposite is necessarily true: just because you DO dance, doesn’t mean you’re necessarily a balanced person – nor a good dancer for that matter. Although if you’re a REALLY good dancer, I think it’s quite likely you’re also a balanced person. The expection that confirms the rule being my dear departed black broter Michael Jackson, of course! Uhm, but I digress… I’m delving too much in my own opinions here, and my actual point was that dancing is a wonderful thing!
I’d really like to reach out to all those people out there who usually sport the “oh-I-can’t-dance” because “oh-I-got-two-left-feet” or “oh-I-dont-have-rhythm”. Come on people, that’s just an act and you know it! I used to be like that, and trust me – getting over it offered me a good deal of personal detachment. And that in my opinion is a wonderful thing indeed! Uh, I hope I’m not coming across the wrong way, but I was checking out this discount dancewear and I think I got carried away. Just go out and do whatever gets you going, but try and have some fun, for Pete’s sake! Standing there sulking won’t really get you anywhere, if you think about it.
