My (not so) evil plan to get everything prepared for Christmas well ahead of time.

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009

Every year in late December, I have this tradition of stumbling all over the place in a shopping frenzy / postcard writing madness. Well, this year I’ve decided to choose otherwise, and try enjoying a relaxed holiday season for a change. So even though we’re three months away from Christmas, I’ve already ordered my christmas cards, which I’ll be leisurely writing and annotating in the upcoming weeks. Also, I’ve already started looking for Chrismtas presents online, so I can get my friends and family great presents at low prices.

And you know what I’m going to write on those Christmas Cards? “This year I thought of you earlier, and prepared your Christmas by anticipation… so now I can relax and laugh at you while you’re going on shopping sprees / card scribbling, very much like I used to!”. What? Just because I’m nice it doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy being a little mean on occasion!

My brand new office fax server is up and running!

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009

Hello dear readers; I’d like to apologize for the recent lack of updates in this blog, but I’ve been occupied with pressing business matters – most specifically the communications system in my office. We’ve just installed a new fax server, and as it turns out I’m very impressed with the service offered by this company. Some of you might think that fax is a prehistoric communications tool, but trust me… it’s still very much in use and demand.

There are some people who aren’t so proficient with sending files over the Internet, and using a fax can really speed up the process of bouncing documents back and forth. Besides, nowadays fax communications can easily be integrated with the Internet – so you can either send / receive faxes on-line or just forward copies of your incoming faxes to your e-mail. To be honest, I didn’t knew that was even possible until recently where I was instructed by our technical assistants in the elusive but highly useful workings of the modern fax systems.

In my opinion, any tool is just about as good as the imagination of its user; regardless, it’s always a good idea to keep several tools at hand – particularly when you’re running a business. You want to allow your customers to communicate with you through their preferred medium, and versatility is definitely an advantage in this day and age!

Something you may not know about natural scars removal!

Sunday, September 20th, 2009

Good news, everyone! If you have a visible scar that keeps shaking your confidence and lowering your self-esteem, there’s now a simple and effortless way to reclaim your natural skin. And I’m not talking about an innovative drug or cutting edge treatment! In fact, what I’ve recently learned was that sometimes all it takes to reduce scarring is a little know-how.

Sounds like a good idea, doesn’t it? Well, I found this completely by chance while looking for a way to help my kids reduce acne scars; I was tired of witnessing all the drama from unwanted scar redness, and one day I just decided I’d google for an answer. My expectations weren’t very high, but as it turns out I came across something that genuinely solved my problem in the simplest imaginable way: using a bunch of grocery items!

In case you’re curious to learn more about this natural method, I’ll show you the blog post from which I first got to know about it all. At first I was also curious, then I quickly became intrigued, and soon enough I was fascinated! And when the time came to actually reduce scarring, this ingenious method worked better and quicker than anything else I’d ever heard or read about.

Having trouble choosing a present? Think Custom T-Shirts!

Saturday, September 12th, 2009

Here’s a good idea for anyone who enjoys offering unique presents, but who’s also on a tight budget: custom t-shirts. I think this is particularly a good idea in occasions that require multiple gifts (such as Christmas, which by the way is already looming in the horizon). Why? Because custom t-shirts can get quite cheap, and also because they’re custom – meaning you can use them to convey a nice message, no need for additional holiday cards- and well… they’re t-shirts! As such they’re generally useful and most people will actually wear them, provided they look interesting or funny. Next time you find yourself running in circles trying to figure out a good present, remember this advice… it might just come in handy!
