The sky is not falling, but you’d better build a sturdy roof.
Saturday, January 16th, 2010Do you still believe in the economic crisis? Sorry to burst your bubble, but you might as well believe in Santa Claus! I don’t meant to propose these aren’t tough times from an economical standpoint – they are – but all the while I cannot help but pointing out how the whole notion of a rampant economic crisis is somewhat overrated. Simply because economy is intrinsically a roller coaster, and invariably there will allways be better times and worse times. There will be amazing times and there will be unnerving times. That’s just how it works, and speaking of it as though we’re now going through unprecedented crisis is just a dumb notion if you ask me.
If you’re really worried about your finances, here’s what you should do: get a savings account now. Start putting some money aside right now, dont’ wait until the so-called crisis somehow happens to magically fade. If you follow this approach, I guarantee you’ll start seeing things from a new perspective, and you will keep yourself from going astray and following the latest economical hypes. The sky is not falling, that’s granted – but all the while you should make sure you keep a sturdy roof. Otherwise it will eventually rain and your assets will get flooded out.
