The sky is not falling, but you’d better build a sturdy roof.

Saturday, January 16th, 2010

Do you still believe in the economic crisis? Sorry to burst your bubble, but you might as well believe in Santa Claus! I don’t meant to propose these aren’t tough times from an economical standpoint – they are – but all the while I cannot help but pointing out how the whole notion of a rampant economic crisis is somewhat overrated. Simply because economy is intrinsically a roller coaster, and invariably there will allways be better times and worse times. There will be amazing times and there will be unnerving times. That’s just how it works, and speaking of it as though we’re now going through unprecedented crisis is just a dumb notion if you ask me.

If you’re really worried about your finances, here’s what you should do: get a savings account now. Start putting some money aside right now, dont’ wait until the so-called crisis somehow happens to magically fade. If you follow this approach, I guarantee you’ll start seeing things from a new perspective, and you will keep yourself from going astray and following the latest economical hypes. The sky is not falling, that’s granted – but all the while you should make sure you keep a sturdy roof. Otherwise it will eventually rain and your assets will get flooded out.

Bad credit loans, your way out of credit car hell?

Saturday, January 16th, 2010

This is something that people usually don’t realize until it’s too late. It’s much better having no credit at all than being buried in bad credit. Simply because credit money is borrowed money, and many people don’t really think about it in such terms. When somebody receives a new credit card, they tend to think of it as free money… but nothing could be farther from the reality. Because when it comes to credit, not only will you be required to put that money back after a short while but you’ll actually have to pay extra, as to cover taxes and bank fees.

There is a good reason why so many people are stuck in credit card hell, and it’s mostly concerned with this simple fact. Most people are too eager to burn out their credit cards as though it was free money, and when the time comes to pay… they easily get stuck and faceplant themselves next to cold, hard reality. Well, I suppose there’s no real benefit in preaching against the dangers of credit, since it’s one of those things that people need to learn for themselves. If you’re looking for a way out of these problems I recommend going for some bad credit loans. Just make sure you don’t end up doing the same mistakes over again.

Payday loan cash advances can be quite handy indeed!

Thursday, October 1st, 2009

Whether you love money or you hate money – there’s something about money regarding which most people seem to agree, especially people who don’t have much of it: money does not have much elasticity. Nowadays, you can hardly stretch those bucks in a way that covers your needs for the whole month, isn’t that right? Some blame it on the economy, some blame it on poor management. But truth of the matter is that sometimes one needs an extra help to get through the monthly expenses. Well, if you ever find yourself in such a situation and you don’t have rich friends or family members from whom you can borrow, maybe a good cash advance payday loan will do the trick.

I’ve only just once used a service such as integrity cash advance, and in my case it wasn’t because I was absolutely strapped for cash, but simply because I had my sight set on a once-in-a-lifetime investment opportunity and I had to come up with the highest possible funding in the least time. Regardless, I think payday loan cash advances can be quite useful for anyone who’s having trouble paying all the monthly bills. I would advice you not to over-rely on this kind of service though; if you find yourself going for a new cash advance month after month, you may want to reconsider your priorities and/or expenses.

My brand new office fax server is up and running!

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009

Hello dear readers; I’d like to apologize for the recent lack of updates in this blog, but I’ve been occupied with pressing business matters – most specifically the communications system in my office. We’ve just installed a new fax server, and as it turns out I’m very impressed with the service offered by this company. Some of you might think that fax is a prehistoric communications tool, but trust me… it’s still very much in use and demand.

There are some people who aren’t so proficient with sending files over the Internet, and using a fax can really speed up the process of bouncing documents back and forth. Besides, nowadays fax communications can easily be integrated with the Internet – so you can either send / receive faxes on-line or just forward copies of your incoming faxes to your e-mail. To be honest, I didn’t knew that was even possible until recently where I was instructed by our technical assistants in the elusive but highly useful workings of the modern fax systems.

In my opinion, any tool is just about as good as the imagination of its user; regardless, it’s always a good idea to keep several tools at hand – particularly when you’re running a business. You want to allow your customers to communicate with you through their preferred medium, and versatility is definitely an advantage in this day and age!

The day when I scribbled my contacts in a plain old napkin.

Monday, August 31st, 2009

Today I had to endure a little embarrassment. Not much a big deal, or so you might think… but sometimes the smallest details convey the wrongest impression, out there in the business world. Well, to put it simply I met a group of potential customers for lunch – they were referred by a mutual friend – and while the conversation developed rather smoothly, I felt at loss when I had to write them my contact on a napkin. Yup… you’ve guessed right, I’d just run out of business cards.

Since scribbling my contacts on napkins is not something I want to keep doing, I decided to take measures to make sure something like this won’t happen again. So I looked up business cards online in Google, and came across this company which sells good-looking cards for a really competitive price (much lower than what I’m used to pay, at least). Needless to say, I’m going all out and ordering a few thousand business cards, as to make sure I won’t run out anytime soon.

Bad eyesight and good vision: a brief optometric rant.

Tuesday, July 14th, 2009

Oh, well… it’s one of those nostalgic Tuesdays, I guess. Today I keep tuning into random thoughts of how it was wonderful being young, carefree and considerably healthy. I remember when I could read signs and posters from a distance, without needing any kind of vision aid. If only I’d known how those were the best days in my life when I was living them… But that’s quite never really how it works, is it? It’s funny how I had a perfect sight when I was younger, and still I failed to see so much subtlety in the world around me. I suppose there’s some kind of lifelong trade-off, as far innocence and experience are concerned.

I may be going on a rant here, but put up with me for a hint of sense. As it goes, nowadays my sight is pretty much a blurred shadow of what it used to be, that’s granted – HOWEVER, as far as my vision is concerned, the opposite holds true. I may need glasses to read letters, but regardless I can tell a good opportunity with my eyes closed. For a case in point, I’ll use something very much in line with the whole optometric issue: inexpensive eyeglasses. And I do mean, QUITE inexpensive eyeglasses – and that’s the magic of online based businesses for you: this company called Zenni is renowned for offering drastically lower prices for vision aids of all kinds, and that’s something all people with good vision and bad eyesight will definitely be interested in.

If you have kids in the family who could use new eyeglasses, maybe it’s just about time you indulge them. You know how it goes it kinds and the whole back to school season: they can be pretty mean to each other, and kids who wear eyeglasses are usually an easy prey for bullies. So if you’d like to do your kids a favor, just get them some hip new glasses this Summer. And if you think you can’t afford doing such a thing… well, just read this post over, maybe you haven’t been paying much attention so far. Or maybe you just need a new eyeglass prescription?

Business sense tingling: now is the time to act!

Wednesday, June 24th, 2009

Recession is old news. Soon enough, our economy will rebound from the depths which circumstance have cast it towards. This is why – in my opinion – this is the best time to start making plans that will allow us to ride the waves of prosperity, as soon as they come back. It may sound like a controversial thing to say, but I honestly think this is the right time to come up with a business model and work hard to make it happen, even if it requires getting some Business Loans. Most people will probably disagree with this kind of reasoning, but come on… in my way of seeing things, it makes more sense to apply for a business credit than a personal credit… which most people do anyway.

Granted, I don’t mean to propose that people should just mindlessly rush into debt – much the other way around. Simply put, it takes money to make money! And most up-and-coming entrepreneurs usually don’t have enough money to make their plans come true. So, if you have an idea for a business, one that you really believe in: don’t be afraid to follow your dreams, even if it involves getting in debt. Just remember that, given enough reasoning, risks can be minimized and kept on a tolerable level. Sometimes a little research can go a long way, and a little courage today can bring about quite a shiny future!
