Dissolvable tobacco or potential health hazard?

Smoking tobacco is a nasty habit – that goes without argument. With that in mind, I think it’s definitely a good thing the federal government has recently passed a new bill aimed at further hindering the sale of tobacco products. Well, the only problem is that tobacco companies aren’t giving up easily on their profit shares, so they’ve been coming up with new varieties of smoke-free tobaccos with the prospect of trying to go around the legislations. A good example is the latest line of tobacco strips, sticks and orbs from camel: all of which look very much like breath mints and chewing gums. In fact this might become a problem, since it provides a brand new – and highly discreet way – for kids to get into nicotine addiction. Granted, children can (and will) be prevented from buying these products, but all the while it’s a little worrying there are now such discreet ways to get a nicotine fix.
